Equipment loan service

• When using the laptop it is recommended that the main power be used rather than the battery as the battery may not be charged.
• To use battery power the battery requires recharging to approximately 3 hours.
  

• Campus network enable.
• If you use this laptop off campus or as a standalone (i.e. not connected to the College Network), you will need to create a user profile at Ultimo College. This is done by logging on to the Network in the usual way – Use you User id and current password.
  

• All current staff of Ultimo College for work related purposes.
• Equipment is not for loan to students.
• Staff need to present their TAFEcard or blue Staff Library card at Information Desk on Level one.
  

• All equipment available for 24 hour loan. Please pickup 30 minutes prior to use, and return directly after use.
• Overnight loans will be considered on a case by case basis.
• If equipment is borrowed for more than 24 hours, then It has to be approved by a senior Librarian, or the librarian on ID1.
• If equipment is kept overnight, then the borrower is responsible for securing the item/s.
• Equipment borrowed overnight needs to be returned by 10 am the following day.
• Only one booking per piece or a set of equipment can be made per day.
• Any additional equipment can be borrowed (for example a powerboard)
  

• Telephone 9217 3317(ID1) to make an equipment reservation.
• Reservations can be made 4 weeks in advance.
  

• Equipment is available for loan and return during library opening hours (Mon – Thu 9:00 am – 8:30 pm; Fri 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Sat 12:00 am – 4:00 pm)
• The last available time for equipment pick up is 30 minutes prior to library closure. If the borrower can’t get it back before the library closes, it is their responsibility to secure it overnight and return it the next day.
