How does recognition work?

You can apply for recognition when you enrol in one of our courses or any time during your studies. However, we recommend that you do it before classes begin or as soon as possible afterwards.

If you are seeking recognition for your life and work experiences, you will need to provide evidence to help us determine your relevant skills and knowledge so we can work out what you may be entitled to.

Recognition is free for students at Sydney Institute.

If you want your previous skills and experience assessed faster or are not studying with Sydney Institute, you can pay a fee for specialised fast track recognition through skills assessment.
